Become a Caregiver
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- general care for a group of dogs or cats
- administering medication
- grooming
- keeping a clean and safe environment
- ensuring animals are fed, watered and socialized
- evaluating animals for physical or behavorial issues
- obedience and agility training
- play groups for exercise and socialization with other animals
Become a Volunteer
Responsibilities may include:
- socialization of animals with humans
- play groups for exercise and socialization with other animals
- walking and leash training
- helping maintain facility and grounds
- light grooming if needed
- reinforcing basic training
- assisting with campus and promotion/education projects
- promoting HUA at community events
