Dog Application

Hearts United for Animals is determined to place each animal in the right home for that particular pet.  Staff and volunteers work diligently with the dogs so that when they are ready for their new homes, we know to the best of our ability what would be a successful match for both the family and the dog.  The majority of the dogs at HUA come from either unknown backgrounds or those of abuse and neglect,  and they may need secure, fenced-in yards to ensure their safety. Some will not do well with very small children or other animals.  Safety and comfort are of the highest priority.  

The HUA adoption contribution is $400.00 per dog.  This helps offset the cost of having the dog altered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for heartworm disease and any other medical interventions deemed necessary.
