Meet Schmitty

About Schmitty

Schmitty came to HUA after his owner moved to a place that did not allow dogs.  He arrived with two other little dogs and they remain his friends.  Schmitty is a shy little thing but he is so cute.  He visits the sunroom on a regular basis, and his tail untucks and his ears perk up in the presence of other dogs who are more confident than he is.  Although a bit timid, he is very interested in people and he is always peeking around one corner or another to see what we are up to.  He is slow to trust, but he does come around with consistency, and he is very sweet and cuddly with those humans who he loves.  It is just a matter of time before he loves the people in his new family.   We adore Schmitty and we know the perfect home is out there for him.  He’ll certainly want a doggy sibling to help with his transition.
