Meet Pumpkin, a soft-hearted and affectionate cat whose gentle nature shines through once she feels safe and comfortable. She came to HUA as a transfer from Best Friends Animal Society and arrived declawed on all four paws. Pumpkin is an absolute sweetie who loves affection and companionship, especially once she knows she can trust the people around her. She does have opinions though, and prefers to decide which humans earn the special privilege of picking her up. When her boundaries are respected, she blossoms into a loving and loyal friend. Pumpkin would thrive in a calm, patient home where her signals are understood and appreciated. She is a wonderful match for someone looking for a cat with both sweetness and character.
