About Malina

Malina is a tiny Chihuahua–Dachshund mix with a quiet spirit and a world of potential ahead of her. She arrived at HUA with a group of dogs who share her shy, feral beginnings, and she’s slowly learning that life can feel safe and steady. Malina is considered a flight risk and will require a secure, fenced-in yard to help her feel protected. She isn’t comfortable being touched and is seeking a patient home that values peaceful co-existence and allows her to move at her own pace. Malina would thrive in an environment that respects her boundaries. Malina may never be a cuddly companion, but she offers a gentle presence and the potential to earn her trust.
