About Kingston

We received a call from a person who stated that if we did not pick up his dog from him immediately the dog would be “accidentally run over.”  When we arrived at the destination, a person practically threw poor Kingston at the caregivers who were there to save him. This little dog was already traumatized from whatever had been going on in the home and he retaliated the only way he how–he snarled and bit and screamed.  Kingston’s first few days at HUA were troubled ones.  He was just so scared of everyone, but soon he was making friends and asking us for belly rubs.  Now Kingston is a carefree, silly, loving boy who adores humans and the other dogs.  He snuggles up in his bed like a purring cat because he is so grateful for the comfort.  He loves walking on his leash and basking in the sun.  Everybody loves Kingston.  We cannot wait for the day when he finds a loving family to call his own.

Becoming an HUA Buddy changes a life. For a monthly donation, you can befriend a dog or cat in need of some love and support until your fuzzy pal is adopted.
