About Aldo

Aldo was found wandering the highway in a country town.  He is a lovely old chap who is nice to the humans and the other dogs.  We think Aldo may be somewhat sight-impaired so we are careful not to startle him or make any sudden movements, but he is an easy-going guy who takes everything in stride.  Aldo loves his snacks and has decided that basic obedience training is right up his alley.  He adores the time spent with his trainer and in the company of his many doggy friends.

Aldo attempted life outside of HUA and quickly decided it was not for him. Outside of HUA, Aldo displayed some resource guarding behaviors that made it difficult for him to live in a home. At HUA, Aldo is happy to share his space with a roommate! He also enjoys seeing his favorite caregiver, allowing her to bathe, brush, snuggle, and handle him with ease (things he doesn’t allow just anyone to do). Here at HUA, we are happy to give Aldo whatever he wants, just the way he wants them!

Buddy Message:

His buddies, Chuck and Lyn Mohr from Albuquerque, NM, sent him this message:

“You’re in our thoughts and prayers. It just gets better from here…just ask Benny, Jellybean, Daisy, Nova, Pixie and Abby Poodle! All our love, The Mohr family”

Aldo sends hugs and kisses to the Mohr family!
