About Laney H

Laney was in a shelter in California when massive flooding took place.  She was pulled from the shelter due to overcrowding, and she also needed orthopedic surgery on both of her back legs.  Now fully recovered, Laney is having a great time at HUA.  She is in the process of obedience training and this girl is food motivated and smart.  Laney is learning how to walk nicely on her leash as she has a tendency to pull.  At 70 pounds that makes it a rough stroll for her “walker.”  She can be a bit unsure and stiff when she meets new dogs but she lets her guard down after all the initial sniffing has been done.  She has her favorite dogs to play with and those are the ones Laney shows her playful and silly side to.  We think this lovely dog would thrive as a member of the family in her very own home.

Becoming an HUA Buddy changes a life. For a monthly donation, you can befriend a dog or cat in need of some love and support until your fuzzy pal is adopted.
