HOMEWARD BOUND -ADOPTED - now living happily in Bloomington, IL!
Katniss lived in the backyard with another dog. When that dog passed away, Katniss was brought to HUA. Naturally, she was a scared little thing, totally unsure of her new surroundings and certainly not accustomed to people showing her love and kindness. The other dogs have helped her come out of her shell, but Katniss is still a little bit timid. Although it takes our sweet, sweet girl a minute to warm up to humans, she is coming around nicely and we are very proud of how brave she is. Katniss would love a quiet home with another pup or two to help her acclimate. We know she has it in her to be a happy and carefree girl once she is settled in.Adopt Me »
