About Zori

Zori was dumped on the HUA property with her sisters Odyssey and Hessie.  About a month after she arrived, this dear girl had seizures–she lost control of her legs, could not hold her head up and had no motor function.  She gave us quite a fright as she was just a baby and we were very concerned about her.  A physical examination by our vet led us to believe that all Zori needed was a medication to keep her healthy, and ever since then she has not had a care in the world.  She is the sweetest thing.  She is playful, friendly with other dogs and she loves humans of all shapes and sizes.  Zori loves and toys and absolutely glows in the attention of people.  She is just a happy, beautiful, fun-loving family member wanna-be.

Becoming an HUA Buddy changes a life. For a monthly donation, you can befriend a dog or cat in need of some love and support until your fuzzy pal is adopted.

Buddy Message:

Her buddy, Dave Gaul from Earling, IA, sent her this message:

Zori, eight years ago as I write this, I adopted a Lab by the name of Bower from HUA. He’s still going strong, and to honor his Coming-Home-Day, I’d like to adopt you—another sweet, friendly Lab like Bower—as my buddy. I’m sure you’ll be having your Coming-Home-Day soon. Who can resist a big friendly Lab!?

Zori sends Dave and alum Bower lots of hugs and kisses!
