About Turtledove
Warthog and Turtledove were brought to HUA by a nearby farmer. Both were very shy and needed socialization. Caregivers worked with the kittens everyday and their personalities bloomed. Turtledove is a reserved cat and prefers to sit on a comfortable perch watching all that goes on around her but we are allowed to pet her now and she has learned to enjoy it. She likes toys and other cats. Turtledove is diabetic and needs daily insulin shots to keep her healthy but she is a trooper and cooperates nicely with her caregivers.
