Meet Spritz

About Spritz

Spritz was in a pound in Texas with her mother and two siblings.  It was a sad state of affairs because, while her siblings were bouncy, happy puppies, Spritz was completely shut down.  A rescue stepped in to take the siblings but did not want Spritz because of her temperament.  Of course, we were happy to welcome this poor baby to HUA.  Thanks to the hard work of both Spritz and her caregivers, she graduated from the Adoption Academy with flying colors.  Although she still has a way to go as far as socialization goes, Spritz know all of her basic commands and has learned to walk nicely on her leash.  She takes comfort in the company of other dogs and loves being around the humans that she knows well.  Spritz loves her roommate and is often found snuggling up for some cuddles.  When people aren’t closely watching, Spritz transforms into a happy and playful puppy with the other dogs, so we know she has it in her.  We are so proud of her progress this far, and we cannot wait to see her thriving in her new home.
