Meet Poptart

About Poptart

Poptart was found as a stray along with his brother Raisin.  He arrived at HUA petrified to the bone.  He would lash out in absolute fear when humans attempted to approach him.  Poptart has made great strides, and although he still runs and hides from people, he will allow himself to be picked up with a blanket.  After he that he calms down and even allows for a nice hairbrushing.  Poptart is a total clown when playing with the other dogs–he tries with all of his might to get everybody to play happily together.  We think this a such a delightful little trait and it’s really fun to watch him being so happy and carefree.  When the others become tired,  Poptart just grabs the nearest toy and tosses it into the air, thrilled with his solo game of fetch.  This adorable little guy is still working on his leash skills, but he is becoming more confident every day.  We see nothing but sunshine in Poptarts’s future.
