About Maya H

Maya came to HUA from a shelter in California when flooding caused massive overcrowding due to displaced family dogs. She is so sweet and well-mannered that it is impossible not to fall in love upon first meeting. She is extremely tuned in to and attached to people, even during meal time. It is then that Maya will leave her food bowl and wait for a caregiver to sit with her. Her soulful and pleading eyes get us every time. Maya is very social with the other dogs as well. She loves to play. She has met many new pups during her stay at HUA and she has been a precious friend to each and every one. This glorious Shepherd is beautiful both inside and out. Her presence will offer her new family peace, tranquility and enormous bragging rights.
