About Malaya

Malaya spent the first seven years of her life in a puppy mill as a breeding mother. She never knew a kind word or a gentle touch, and it shows. She is shy and unsure about this new world around her, but we are showing her what love and safety feel like and Malaya likes those feelings. She is slowly coming around to enjoy the presence of humans, and she is sweet and calm when resting in a lap. Malaya will come to thrive in a patient family with people who will let her shine on her terms as she becomes accustomed to living in her very first home.
