About Major

Major Pyr was found as a stray in a town close to the HUA shelter.  It is possible that he was a farm dog who wandered off, probably because he is so tuned in to people that he was not getting the love he craved.  And love him is what we do, as do all of the other dogs he has met.  Major is big, charming lug of a goofball who is fun and playful.  He adores his roommate, all of his friends in playgroup, his plethora of toys and of course,  every single human.  He even entertains himself by playing in his water bowl, which is both messy and adorable.  People get the biggest kick out of Major.  Even at 82 pounds, he is easy to walk and gentle with everyone.  This darling boy is certain to delight his new family members with his love-bug persona and zest for life.

Becoming an HUA Buddy changes a life. For a monthly donation, you can befriend a dog or cat in need of some love and support until your fuzzy pal is adopted.
