Meet Lavender

About Lavender

Lavender spent the first seven years of her life as a breeder mama.  Up until very recently she had never heard a kind word or experienced affection from a human.  This means that the sweet girl is shy and timid, and not willing to trust easily.  Other, more confident dogs are helping Lavender feel at ease, and as she sees her friends interact with her caregivers, she is becoming curious.  Having loving family with whom she feels safe will go a long way with this darling Maltese.  Another dog in the home will be essential for her emotional growth as well.
