Meet Gato

About Gato

Gato came to HUA because her person was moving and could not bring her along. This lovely girl is shy, but she is starting to warm up.  She is nervous and doesn’t come out of her cat cubby much when people are around, but she will welcome some pets.  She just likes her little safe space. Gato is very sweet and gentle, and she really does love attention–slow movements and a soft voice help her to feel less anxious. Lots of lickable treats also help her trust the humans. Gato would love to live in a quiet home, preferably with a feline sibling to help with her adjustment.
