About Deleah

This blue-eyed darling was dumped outside of an overflowing animal shelter on the Mexican border. Without HUA’s intervention, Deleah would have been euthanized. Just after we welcomed her to the shelter, Deleah was diagnosed with heart worm disease. The recovery process is long and sometimes painful, and it requires near constant rest and confinement. This beautiful dog was so patient and well-behaved as she struggled to get well. She was always super excited at any human interaction and everyone adored her. Deleah is finally healthy, and her joy at being set free can hardly be contained. She is like a puppy again–exploring, playing with her toys and the other dogs, and loving on all the humans. She will be so very happy when she finds her new home.
