Meet Chino

About Chino

Chino was brought to the shelter for nipping at children who were annoying him.  We’ve come to know him as a laid back kinda guy who loves big, comfy dog beds, his Kong toys, basking in the sun and–most of all–squeaky balls.  This funny, athletic little guy throws his balls up the air, catching them precisely and doing it all over again.  He is one entertaining little fellow.   Chino gets along with other dogs just fine, but sometime we have to correct him when he issues little warning growls to someone if he’s in a human’s lap.  We tell him “no” and set him on the floor so he knows that will not be tolerated.  Chino accepts that and happily trots away to find something different to do.  We think he is so funny and just adorable.
