Meet Arlo

About Arlo

Arlo was brought to HUA by his person who said he “herded” the kids and other dogs too much.  Any person who knows an Aussie knows that these dogs are superior herders and many times it is something they do instinctively, so yes, Arlo is awesome at his “job.”  When paired up with other dogs with a similar play style, Arlo is all fun and personality.  He has a female best buddy who is also an Aussie and the gorgeous pair really enjoys playtime.  Arlo is happy, inquisitive, friendly and playful but he can be a lot with his dominant personality, so he must meet his potential canine sister before going home–he will not do well with a brother.  He is a smart boy who knows nail clipping and grooming mean extra time with his caregivers and he is all for it.  Arlo knows basic commands and would love to learn new things that would keep his mind engaged.  He loves children, but we would recommend older kids due to his herding tendencies.
