About Amarina

On a summer day in Nebraska, when the heat index was 104 degrees, 44 Australian Shepherds were rescued from the horrors of life in a puppy mill.  Amarina was among the sorrowful group, and she came with some baggage–an unwanted pregnancy.  Thankfully, it would be her last.  Amarina’s six babies were fat and bouncy, and she was a fiercely protective mama.  Now that she has raised her brood, she is enjoying life to the fullest.  She loves being out in the big yards with her friends and relatives, and she has learned to walk nicely on her leash.  Her life is brand new and stretched out in front of her, and Amarina is making the most of it.  She is still rather shy, but she is improving every day.  A home life will be a beautiful wonder to her.
