HOMEWARD BOUND - ADOPTED - now living happily in Omaha, NE!
A man entered the HUA office to let us know that he had seen puppies in a field about two miles away from the shelter. We scurried over and were heartbroken to find that one of the puppies was deceased and had been placed into a tote back with a pink towel on top. The other pup, Philip, was skinny and covered in fleas, and he was so grateful to see us that he ran over, somewhat unsteadily, to gobble down some delicious food we had brought with us. We are very sad about his poor sibling, but we were overjoyed to have Phillip safe, sound and as happy as he could be. Philip has been doing great with his potty training and leash skills. He loves playing fetch with his stuffed lamby, and he is very loyal to the people he loves so much (which is EVERYONE). Car rides are a big deal to him--he thinks they're super fun. He gets along with all of the other dogs as well, big or small, Philip has no preference. He is even a good friends to the cats. Philip would love a family with some older kids who will dote upon him and teach him all kinds of neat tricks. He is smart, silly, cuddly, sweet and the best baby boy there ever was.Adopt Me »
