Jane was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. It is obvious to us that this sweet Border Collie mix has been mistreated by humans. She was quite skittish and shy, and seemed confused by the entire ordeal. Jane has adjusted well with the assistance from caregivers and volunteers who have helped her to gain trust and confidence, and she is now very friendly and open to getting to know new people. Jane does well on her leash, loves to go for long walks, and is just generally sweet natured. She can be quite picky when meeting new dogs so she would certainly have to meet any potential furry siblings before going to her new home. Jane would be quite content to be the only as well.
