I think that is so great that you guys are rescuing puppys! It means alot to me. When I saw the vidio, it broke my heart to see how cruel people are to the dogs. I want to help stop the puppy mills to. May God bless you and your organization.

I have a dog and it broke my heart to watch this. How can people be so cruel and inhumane in their need for money. These animals deserve a decent life with love and warmth and affection. Please try and stop the puppy mills NOW……….

Hi Chaya, Frankie the maltese is doing ok. He is still in foster care. If you would like to inquire about adoption you can write to our adoption coordinator at jenny@hua.org. I’m not sure if he is being considered for adoption yet or if he needs to have more medical visits but Jenny will be happy to fill you in You can also see the other dogs for adoption and sort them by breed on our website. The new dogs will be on the site in the comin weeks but we have many, many to chose from on the site right now. Thanks! Lori

what a great organization. Are any of the dogs adopt able? Is the one pound maltese OK? Did she survive? I rescued a maltese when she was 2 years old and she lived till 16 1/2. I would love to adopt another.
