For two years an HUA friend in rescue drove past a trailer park during her daily lunch breaks. For two years this kind person agonized over what was in the backyard of a corner lot. Two tiny dogs, a Pomeranian and a Japanese Chin, lived in separate outdoor kennels on this property in Bismarck, ND. Every day they were out there, in temperatures as high as 100 degrees and as low as zero degrees. When the owner somehow finally was convinced that this was no life for a dog the HUA friend was able to get them to the shelter. One would never know Diego was neglected. He is cute, funny, loving, and happy. He loves cuddling and rolls around in blankets with wild abandon. He has become such a creature of comfort and we rejoice in his happiness. Diego likes the other little dogs and would be happy to have a fuzzy sibling but that is not a requirement for him.
