Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

This adorable little poot was rescued by another group in Nebraska that specializes in her breed. Zoe was so distraught and confused when she was finally freed from the puppy mill that she appeared almost insane. Because of their limited resources, the people running the shelter asked HUA to step in and help Zoe because it was clear she was in need of many, many days, if not weeks, of intense socialization. Although she has only been with us for a short while, Zoe has made amazing progress. She no longer spins wildy as if still trapped in a tiny crate. She loves people and has become so friendly. She is starting to have lots of fun and the joy is written all over her fuzzy face. We are proud of Zoe. We know full well where she came from and what she's been through, and this brave little girl has refused to let it break her.
Buddy Messages (2)
Her Buddy, Barbara Arendt, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Zoe, I am pledging my support on behalf of Cassy, Ella and Garrett Moore. You are a cutey!" Zoe sends Barbara many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.
Her Buddies, Sonja and Ken Cox, from Bennington, Nebraska, sent her this message: "You are such a sweet little girl and will surely find a home soon. Our furry children, Max, Benny and Ruby send their best." Zoe sends Sonja, Ken, Max, Benny and Ruby many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
