Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Merlvern and his sister Merriam were found abandoned on an Indian Reservation in Kansas. Other than being cold and hungry, both pups seemed to be OK and just in need of the basics: food, shelter, love. They are supremely grateful for all of it and are fun-loving, silly, clumsy Lab puppies that have no bad ideas or preconceived notions. Melvern and Mirriam both want to snuggled and carried about as if they are still tiny babies, and we're OK with that for the moment. Melvern is a big player and a people pleaser. He and his sister both will learn nice manners quickly in their homes and we will be thrilled to hear reports of great tricks and fun times.
Buddy Messages (1)
His buddies, Drummer and Lulu Murtaugh from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Howdy Melvern...what a good looking lab. We found out one of our other buddies got adopted, so we want to be your buddy. We are both labs, yellow and black, and we know you will get adopted soon. Keep your chin up, HUA folks are great. Your buddies, Drummer and Lulu". Melvern sends Drummer, Lulu and their Daddy, Ron, many grateful lab hugs and big kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
