Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Indie was found as a stray in a small town near the shelter with her room-mate, Tulla. We are not sure how long the two girls had been on the road, but thankfully they were healthy and happy when we found them. Indie finds so much joy in humans that we can't fathom the possibility that someone may have been cruel to her. She loves us so much she can barely stand it. She is having the time of her life showing off for treats and chasing toys. She loves going for walks and playing in the agility yard with all of the other dogs. She performs super happy dances all day long and we love it when she stops to sniff the fresh air, her little nose pointed up and quivering. Indie is an appreciative, sweet, loving, delightful girl who will fit in with just about any family.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Brenda Herel, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Hi Indie! I just love your sweet, fuzzy face! It looks like you are having a great time. I am glad you have a safe and loving place to stay until you find your forever home. You remind me so much of my Beagle, Josey. Yet, you have my Jaxon's eyes. I wish you all the BEST!" Indie sends Brenda, Joey and Jaxon many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
