Homeward bound-adopted!

Gizmo and his buddy Gadget were surrendered to HUA when their family fell on such hard times that they were unable to feed even the tiniest of mouths. It was a sad, sad day for everyone, but these kids bounced back so nicely and they are just the most adorable little pups. Giz is hopelessly smitten with people. He is in love with all of his caregivers and the volunteers equally. He does not discriminate, which is great since we all insist on taking turns toting him around. He is also pretty fantastic at the famous Chihuahua dances. His tiny feet pitter pat with happiness when he is playing - it is just the cutest thing ever. G and G do not have to be adopted together; both are happy just to be with humans and will expect only full-on spoiling in their new homes.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddy, Alexandra Llerena, from Framingham, MA, sent him this message: "Hello Gizmo. I would take you home instantly if I could!! You are so precious and I know you will find a wonderful forever home!!" Gizmo sends Alexandra many joyful chihuahua dances, happy kisses and grateful hugs!
His Buddy, Mark Hendricks, from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Welcome to HUA. You'll enjoy it there but I hope that it won't be long until you find a loving family and home." Gizmo sends Mark lots and lots of very grateful kisses and happy hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
