Bethany

be my buddy
Keeshond
Born: 04/04/2010
Medium
34 lbs
Female

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bethany came from a bad puppy mill in Nebraska. She does show the signs of neglect and rough handling by people, but she is learning trust and happiness here. She enjoys the freedom she has in an apartment in the Canine Condos, and she is beginning to like attention from people. With one-on-one attention in a home, she will continue to grow emotionally and realize that people will love her. We believe she may have been mother to Lamar and Mason, the Keeshond pups who had the terrible knees that required specialty surgery. They have done a tremendous job of coming around to like and trust people, and we know Bethany will too.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddies, Dweezel and Carolyne, from California, sent her this message: "Hi Bethany, My name is Dweezel Dachshund and my mom and I saw your picture and thought you are so beautiful. We hope you find a forever home very soon. Until then my mom, Carolyne Joseph, and I would love to be your buddy. Many licks from me and hugs from my mom." Bethany sends Dweezel many happy licks in return, and sends Carolyne happy kisses and grateful hugs, too!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
