This old abandoned car was Pixie's home when we found her. She had an advanced case of mange that caused her to lose much of her hair. The bitter months of winter fast approaching would have given her a painful death. This picture was taken just seconds before Linda reached for this mange-ridden little girl to cuddle and comfort her.

Pixie recovered at the Shelter. She was grateful for her soft bed and her warm blanket. She especially loved her sweater. She is so happy that every day is a joy just to be able to care for her and love her. She is the sweetest little dog, very polite, and so gentle.
