Gina

Gina came to HUA from a puppy mill. We aren't sure what happened to her to make her so terrified of people, but it was tragic and she will never get it over it. It is rare that a dog in our care will just not come around to accept humans in the least. Gina will not. After years she is still in a pure terror panic any time a human approaches, even those who have cared for her daily and tried very hard to show her all the love in the world.

Despite her fear of humans Gina does love it at HUA. She adores her doggie companions, and her freedom to be who she is. She loves playtimes with the other dogs, loves her soft bed and warm blankets and her extra special treats. HUA is by far the best place Gina has known in her life. She is happy to be here and we are happy to care for her and have her as part of our special HUA family of Sanctuary Sweethearts.
