Cayenne
Cayenne is such a wonderful Pomeranian girl. She came to HUA after suffering many years in a horrid Missouri puppy mill. So many adopters came and went, always overlooking Cayenne. She was a sweet happy girl to those who knew her well, but she did not trust strangers, so the more outgoing dogs were always chosen. Her age was against her in hopes for adoption as well.
Cayenne is very delicate. She has hip problems as well as a floating patella. She gets around fine, she hops a bit at times and when she rolls over her back legs automatically cross because of the malformations of the bones and joints in her hips. The doctor says it is a combination of bad breeding and being cramped in a small cage for years and years that caused these problems. He said there is just too much wrong to consider surgery. She has a heart problem and they do not feel that she would survive the many operations. She is on twice daily medication for her heart and for her hips and knee.
HUA will make sure Cayenne receives the best of care for the rest of her life. She is so beautiful, joyful and ever grateful for all that is done for her. It is our pleasure to be able to bring happiness to such a wonderful little girl who deserves so much, and before HUA received so little.
