Sneakers
Poor little Sneakers spent the first 9 years of his life in an rotten, horrible puppy mill. This sweet boy is afraid of people. As we work with him he is becoming more calm, not so utterly terrified as he was at first, but progress is slow. We can only imagine what he must have endured for almost a decade of his life to make him so panic stricken. We know we will reach him, hopefully one day the lightbulb will just turn on and he will realize that he is safe and loved. Often that is how it happens with dogs who are this afraid, and Sneakers is a smart boy, so we think it will happen for him too. He is an adorable little fellow who deserves the best, and we will continue to make sure that life is as comfortable for him as possible.
Sneakers is a male Miniature Pinscher. He was born 8/1/00 and weighs 13.4 pounds.
Sneakers is so happy that he has a Buddy! His Buddy, Maureen Lobb, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Hi Sneakers! You're a beautiful MinPin boy and I know you'll be able to find the loving home you deserve. Don't be afraid to let that wonderful MinPin spirit out! Your new buddies - Maureen, Dale, Sergei, Bella, and angel Dimitri." Sneakers sends Maureen and her lovely family many happy, grateful kisses.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
