Dior spent seven long years in a horrid puppy mill in Nebraska. It's taken a little time to gain her trust but she's come to learn that life can be good. She LOVES to go outside and play. Dior was fortunate that she did not have any serious health problems in spite of having spent so many years in prison.
Dior is a Dachshund who weighs 13 pounds. She was born on 8/21/2001.
Dior is so happy that she has a Buddy! Her Buddy, Ingelore Pohlmann, from Winfield, Illinois, sent her this message: "I just discovered that Dior - Colin - Frosty don't have buddies. So I want to be their buddy. Please give each of them hugs and kisses from me. I am sure that someone will come to give them a forever home soon." Dior sends Ingelore many happy, grateful Dachshund girl kisses.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
